Situated in the North Island of New Zealand, close to the famous Waitomo Caves; Grant & Julie Mansell have been breeding alpacas since 2000. The alpaca venture has developed over that time to include a retail store on farm and a purpose built fibre processing mill. The mill caterers for the alpaca community but can also accommodate other fibre producers such as wool and mohair.

Julie is one of the Accredited Alpaca Judges in New Zealand and has been judging since 2004. Avid keen exhibitors the Mansells can be seen at most of the North Island Alpaca shows each season. Committee to helping the lifestyle alpaca farmer many of their clients have become good friends.

Both worked in the accountancy field but now work full time on the farm, they are more than happy to help you set up your alpaca venture or  simply talk with you when  visit the shop the mill and  the alpacas.
